Continuing Education Sponsorship
APA Division 22 for Rehabilitation Psychology focuses on the study and application of psychological knowledge and skills on behalf of individuals with disabilities and chronic health conditions in order to maximize health and welfare, independence and choice, functional abilities, and social role participation across the lifespan.
Division 22 is approved by the APA to sponsor Continuing Education (CE) for ALL Psychologists. Our mission is focused on the development and delivery of high quality continuing education courses, conferences, workshops, and programs. Given the breadth of rehabilitation psychology and the wide range of settings in which psychologists work, we encourage conference planners across all rehabilitation disciplines to consider our CE sponsorship in order to provide CEs for psychologists in your programming. CE approval by Division 22 is a testament that your course/program meets our high quality standards and has undergone a rigorous review according to our established standards for course/program development and delivery.

APA Division 22 does not have any special (commercial) interest in providing CE programs. All of its programming respects cultural, individual, and role differences, including those based on age, gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, language, and socioeconomic status. Division 22 Conference
Each year Division 22 hosts an annual Mid-Winter Conference, usually in mid- to late- February. It is a welcoming, friendly gathering of Rehabilitation Psychologists. It includes presentations relevant to students and early-, mid-, and later-career psychologists. All are welcome to attend for education, training, and networking.

Other CE Activities
Other activities include online programming, Association for Spinal Cord Injury Professionals annual conference, the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine annual conference, and other specialty conferences.
