Future Directions
The field of Rehabilitation Psychology is continually growing and advancing. Recent efforts have been directed at enhancing conceptualization of Rehabilitation Psychology and Post-Doctoral training. To this end, the “Baltimore Conference on Rehabilitation Psychology Post-Doctoral Training” convened in April, 2011. Two papers have been published related to this conference:
It is recommended that as students and others considering careers in Rehabilitation Psychology peruse these publications to better understand future trends in Rehabilitation Psychology training. Moreover, those involved in training psychologists should study these documents as they pertain to training program development.
