Division 22 welcomes and encourages contributions from students at all levels of training. Each year, trainees from all levels find their professional home in Division 22 and opportunities for student members are continually expanding.
In 2014, the Division 22 Student Leadership Network (SLN) was established to represent the needs of the growing number of students training in Rehabilitation Psychology. In addition to providing information, support, and resources for students, the SLN serves to expand opportunities for student leadership in the Division and to facilitate communication between student members at the national and international level.

Become A Trainee Member
Rehabilitation Psychology is the study of the application of psychosocial principles in working with persons with physical, cognitive, developmental or emotional disabilities. Whether they have congenital or acquired disabilities, persons with disabilities may face personal, social, and situational barriers to effective functioning in society. Division 22 is the home for rehabilitation psychologists and trainees and is an excellent division for those interested in health, illness, disability, and rehabilitation issues. Division 22 is known for its efforts to foster the career and leadership development of trainees (students, pre-doctoral interns, and post-doctoral fellows) and early career psychologists.
Division 22 has created an active mentoring program and includes strong student-oriented programming and activities at the annual Division 22 Mid-Winter Conference and the APA Convention.
Trainees receive substantially reduced rates for Division 22 Membership ($25/year).
Membership provides opportunities to serve on a number of Division 22 committees, sections, and special interest groups, including the Student Leadership Network.
Membership includes subscriptions to the Division 22 newsletter, email listserv, and flagship journal, Rehabilitation Psychology.
Trainee members receive a substantial discount on registration fees to the annual Mid-Winter Conference.
